Synopsis:
Charly, a young girl goes missing in her dinghy unnoticed by her pop celebrity mother drinking at a beach bar. Saved by Danny, a burned out City whiz kid far out at sea and trying to avoid the heavies sent to retrieve a bad debt, they are swept away by the Atlantic current, nearly run down in shipping lanes; capsize in a storm and face starvation as they desperately try to stay afloat. Fighting for survival, Danny fears they will die as sharks circle the dinghy when they find a damaged yacht adrift in midocean with an injured woman on board. Suspicious police question mother and friends, as the International media take up the story.
