John Cairns is the founder and CEO of the Parkland Companies developing, financing, producing and selling feature films and documentaries. 2017 saw Parkland also develop and produce Television series, and in August 2018, it launched its UK distribution arm Parkland Entertainment.

Tom Stewart – Acquisitions Director
Tom Stewart joined the team in August 2018 to set up the UK distribution arm Parkland Entertainment. Tom, an industry veteran, held the position of acquisitions director at Arrow Films for 8 years. He has also worked at High Fliers, Freemantle Media and Metrodome Distribution.
Andrew Brown – Head of Sales
Andrew Brown joined Parkland Pictures in Autumn 2019 as Head of Sales. Having been responsible for financing, acquiring, packaging, marketing and selling in excess of 200 features, Andrew has built a solid reputation with Producers and strong, long standing commercial relationships with distributors from all over the world.
Emma Lever – Creative Director
Emma Lever joined Parkland in February 2013 as script editor after a career in film and multi-media production. Her first novel, Once More With Feeling, was published in 2008. Emma continues to write fiction.
John Wilson - Executive Producer
John Wilson had many successful years in the retail industry, building a chain of retail clothing stores and a chain of furniture stores across Scotland. In 2005, John sold his businesses and turned to property development. He now owns several commercial properties in Scotland and Northern Ireland and is also the trustee of a number of UK charities. Since 2007, John has provided much of the ongoing development and production finance for Parkland.
